Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer

Dewormer granules for the treatment and control of roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and taenia species of tapeworms in healthy puppies 6 wks or older and adult dogs, including pregnant dogs. Contain fenbendazole 22.2%. Package of three 1-gm packets treats 10-lb dog for 3 days; Package of three 2-gm packets treats 20-lb dog for 3 days; Package of three 4-gm packets treats 40-lb dog for 3 days. (One 1-gm packet and one 2-gm packet treat 30-lb dog for 1 day; One 1-gm packet & one 4-gm packet treat 50-lb dog for 1 day; etc.) Dosage: Weigh dog for the correct size packet. If weight is in-between the suggested dosing sizes, it is safe to use the next higher size. Mix one packet daily with a small amount of food for 3 days. Newly weaned pups (6-8 wks old) should be dewormed at 6, 8, 10 and 12 wks old. Dam should be treated at the same time as puppies. Dogs over 6 mos should be dewormed at least twice a year. Each deworming requires 3 daily treatments.
